The drawers on this cabinet appear to have been built "sideways". The dovetail joint is an attractive an eye-catching joint as well as a strong joint. I knew that these drawers would not be holding heavy items like silverware so I mounted the drawers "sideways" to let the the dovetail joints show. The drawer pulls and upper "cloudlift" element are ebonized oak.
